RevLifter named in CB Insights’ Retail Tech 100
RevLifter has fended off competition from a pool of over 7,000 companies worldwide to gain a place in CB Insights’ prestigious Retail Tech 100.
The list for 2022 comprises 100 startups transforming the retail industry across 13 different categories, including online marketplaces, eCommerce merchandising & discovery, virtual shopping tech, and digital shopper engagement.
As you can see from the grid below, RevLifter is sitting proudly in the merchandise planning & inventory management field, which reflects our ability to use signals like real-time stock levels to help retailers drive sales in the right places.
A total of 19 countries are represented in this year’s list, including India, China, Mexico, Singapore, and the Netherlands. Around 40% of the class of 2022 is based outside of the US, where CB Insights is headquartered, and RevLifter is one of just six entrants from the UK.
Thousands of applicants were judged on a range of factors, including tech novelty, team strength, and innovation. CB Insights also used its proprietary Mosaic Score to accurately establish each company’s growth potential and momentum.
Brian Lee, SVP of CB Insights’ Intelligence Unit, commended this year’s list while remarking on a “breakout year“ for retail tech.
He continued: “In 2021 alone, these 100 companies raised $13.1 billion in funding, an incredibly impressive feat. As the retail landscape evolves, we’re excited to see how the companies on the Retail Tech 100 continue to revolutionize how consumers shop.”
Also commenting on the news, Simon Bird, Co-Founder and CEO of RevLifter, said: “It’s an honor to call RevLifter one of the top 100 startups currently transforming the global retail landscape. Our place is testament to the work performed by our team and the client partnerships we’ve evolved to become the market leader in real-time offer personalization.”
